"The top 10% of the country own more than £4T (over 50%) of the personal wealth of the country...A one-off tax of just 20% on the wealth of this group would pay the national debt and dramatically reduce the deficit (sic)"

Here is an idea so dangerous, so revolutionary (I use that word with all it's historical power), so powerful that I'm surprised I've still read it.

What keeps this going is that it'll be immediately killed off as some sort of lunatic idea, more at home with lunar conspiracies and mysterious cults.
